The ST-M torque meter is a precisious electronic instrument. The unit offers the most advanced manual torque testing solution on the market. The graphical lcd display allows the monitoring the release and application processes on time-torque graph, wich can even be stored and exportet to the pc. The ST-M can record both the primary and the secondary peak torques during a release (or application) process, so both the initial release torque and the warranty rings bridge breaking torque (or application torque) can be measured.
The ST-M can be optional ordered with a 2 channel combined torque/force metering version (ST-M-CR) too. This special instrument measures the torque and the axial (vertical) load simultanously and so it is ideal for testing the child resistant closures release features.
The instruments memory can store hundreds of measuring results together with graphs. The stored datas and graphs can be exported on pc from the memory and excel sheets can be created from the results. A narrow paper dot printer is also attachable to the ST-M for printing the results directly into a report. The stored datas:
* The measurements serial number
* The measurements date and time
* The measurement results with unit (primary and secondary torque values)
* 4 digit ID number of the measure (Can be typed after the measurement for the easier identification. E.g.: line number, head number, product code, etc.)
* Instrument serial number (for easier identification if several units are in use)
* The graph of the measurement

The ST-M draws torque-time graph of the release (or application) precess. Below the graph the primary and the secondary peak torques are displayed. So the unit can be used for measuring the temper evident bands bridge breaking torque too in one step with the initial release torque measurement.
The instrument can store the results and the graphs separately. The stored results and graphs can be recalled from the memory or exported on pc or printer.
Quick release sample fixing
The ST-M offers a special quick release mechanism for the fixing of the samples. Once the sample is fixed you just need to flip the handle for releasing the sample. To fix the next same sized sample, the handle just needs to be flipped back into the normal position. So for overchanging the samples there is no need to turn the handle banck and on again, just flip the handle!
